A nice visit to learn about sea life along the Georgia coast. Definitely worth taking the time to learn about the preservation of sea turtles.

We stopped here on our way to the beach. It has a nice little gift shop and a window to watch them work on turtles in the hospital. The tank area is small and kind of crowded. I didn't mind the admission price because it goes to helping the rehab efforts but it is only about an hours worth of... More

I wish there were more turtles but it is a good thing that there aren't. After all, it is a rehab center for hurt turtles. They are lovely and well kept. Glad I visited. $12 per adult takes u to the exhibits, the camera when they take out the turtles, and the holding place where they keep them. I like... More

Great way to spend the day with the kids on Jekyll Island. Education tours through the hospital help you understand how to protect sea life. Great experience!

First of all, the center does great work. I would pay the admission just to support their efforts. It's a quick stop... we were done with it all in about an hour. My kids enjoyed seeing the turtles and reading their way through the exhibits. We went to the turtle hospital in the Florida Keys last year, and this experience... More

Very interesting and educational. You will learn lots about turtles. Be sure to watch a feeding and listen to a presentation.

It was quite obvious to us that this has principally become a tourist attraction to generate revenue to support the turtle rehab operation. Although it was interesting to tour the rehab operation, there weren't a lot of turtles and the focus was more on the interactive displays in the center adjacent to the souvenir shop!! We compared this to the... More

While a friend and I were traveling, we heard great things about the center. We looked it up on Tripadvisor. We really enjoyed our visit to the turtle center. You can tour at your own pace. The center is not very big, however, it's very interesting. You can watch a video that follows the sea turtles as they make their... More

The work this place does is amazing but we were disappointed. Considering the circumstance that turtles come to this place, I guess it was a good thing that there were only 4 turtles there. We tried to ask a couple questions but were ignored . The kids were bored and it was not an enjoyable experience for us.
