This is a beautiful and thought-provoking location. Of the 600-1,000 soldiers buried here, only a handful are identified. Most of them are re-interred from local battlefields. I definitely recommend a stop here.

Cemetery is located just north of the Jonesboro Train Depot and the Tara Museum located within. Cemetery was very close to my childhood home and I visited often. Very peaceful.

This cemetery is well kept and many CSA soldiers are buried there. Peaceful area and worth a visit. Found a possible ancestor of mine buried in the cemetery only because the cemetery is well maintained.

Don't really know what to say, since it's a cemetery. But it's not JUST a cemetery. Besides that it's absolutely beautiful, it's also a very peaceful and powerful place. A great quick stop on our way back to Atlanta from visiting a few other historical...More

There are a lot of headstones in this cemetery without names. Unknown Solders that gave their lives in 1839. The Battle Of Jonesboro only lasted 2 days. There are still confederate flags flying on the graves which it should be
