This is a well maintained antebellum home with amazing woodwork. The tour guides are resident hosts, so they are very knowledgeable. They do not have a website, but the hours are Tuesday - Saturday 10am-1pm & 2pm-5pm, there is a $5 fee.

Caretakers give a fascinating account of the two families which originally owed the home from civil war history through current day. They even give details of creek Indians ownership before the land... More

Was here about 10 years ago, but it sounds like things haven't changed much. We got into town late, and knew the place closed at 5:00, but figured we'd ride over and take a look from the outside, maybe take a walk. We saw a gentlemen closing up the house. He comes over, talks to us for a few minutes,... More

The history, as shared by the caretakers of the mansion, was fascinating and well-told. The house has been restored and kept beautifully. A must-see when in LaGrange.
