Although it is a small Canyon and has not formed any hoo doos as yet, I imagine this is what Bryce Canyon looked like when it first started out. There are several hiking trails you can take along the canyon rim or on the canyon floor. We took the white trail down from the visitors center, then turned left and... More

My 14 year old daughter and I ventured here because it was too cold for the beach. The views are gorgeous and we got some great pictures. She is athletic but I am not. However, the hike down wasn't bad. Creek bed was wet but lots of dry places to navigate to canyons 1-5. Hike back up kicked my hiney... More

This is another beautiful Georgia State park. Very interesting spot. the canyon started by poor farming methods. The trail to the canyon floor was steep but the walkway was good, no roots or rocks. It is only 1/4 mile. Getting back up was a chore of course but we are seniors and took our time. One bench along the way... More

We have passed signs for the canyon for years as we traveled to Florida. We always said we were going to stop and we actually stopped this time. It was worth it and we will stop there again in the future. We did not hike the entire loop trail due to time constraints but you can view the canyon easily... More

The canyon is certainly worth a visit. There are several trails to chose from, a pretty cool old church, and some unique Georgia history. On the white trail, there were some rusty old cars left from previous homesteaders, which was pretty interesting. The trails were not difficult overall. The geology of the rocks was very pretty and the formations quite... More

We had a great time exploring the canyons. The views were extraordinary. Hiking down into the canyons will require some muddy and damp shoes:) The park also has an abundance of geocaches.

This attraction is definitely worth a stop! This place is truly like a mini grand canyon. We hiked all through the canyon and we camped in the group camping location overnight. Some trails were definitely physically demanding but there were plenty of easier routes to take if you're looking for a more relaxed walk, either way the views of the... More

Was looking for something to do with our son who had a weekend pass from Ft Benning. It was a beautiful afternoon. This turned out to be the perfect place to spend some family time and get a bit of exercise. It was crowded but not overly so. There were families with young kids, teen groups, folks with dogs. Lots... More

Beautiful views this time of the season! Not a lot of tree foliage. No bugs. Perfect 56 degree weather. We took the white trail, it was a great trail. There's was 3 trails total. Kids ranging from 13 years old to 11 months old. Everyone enjoyed it. If you've been here try it now, he won't be disappointed!
