The statute is basically in center of town it is small but nice. Very cute quaint town. No other things to see besides the little ocmulgee state park which is excellent.

Why are we calling this the statue of liberty. It's sugar creek plantation. A wedding, special occasions, dinner meetings pace that offers rooms and full amwnties. Got the name all wrong.

I think the fact that this "attraction" has several reviews in Trip Advisor is just a hoot! If you find yourself going through McCrae, it does catch your eye. Props to the folks of McCrae who put this together.

Don't go out of your way to see this...it's a nice little statue in a town where there's nothing else..just sits next to a coke warehouse on the road running through town!

We decided to drive Hwy 341 from Dublin GA to FL instead of the usual I-16 to I-95. The drive was great and then unexpectedly there was the great little town, McRae with it's own Statue of Liberty. The next time we travel Hwy 341 we will spend some time in McRae to see what other gems are there.
