Beautiful place to visit. Lovely plants, trees, and flowers. Field trip friendly for school groups. Visited in the spring and learned a lot about pine tree pollen!

Beautiful grounds (50 acres) with many different plant collections and a fabulous antebellum (1852) home. Strongly recommend a visit.

We visited this home as part of the trolley tour in Milledgeville. It is a beautiful home, but not pretentious. Our guide, Sarah was very knowledgeable about the home and its furnishings. Wish we had more time there to tour the grounds. Would love to...More

We visited Rose Hill Mansion today. It was one of the most impressive houses that we toured on the Antebellum Trail. Tour is self guided and very reasonably priced. Also beautiful trails to walk through the Arboretum. This is a "must see" when in Milledgeville.

we did not attend a wedding at the Lockerly House but there was one setting up the day we visited. Furnishing is not original and the signage is not very good. No docent available. We did not visit the Arboretum.

The home was pretty cool. It looked like they were in the middle of restoring it, otherwise I would have given a 5. The grounds were nice to walk around and enjoy nature.
