Stable staff was very knowledgeable and could match horse with riders well. The ride was lead by a caring professional who watch carefully to make sure all riders were following within a reasonable distance. We are experienced riders and had a very pleasant experience. I would recommend the stables to both novice and experienced riders. Horses have been well cared... More

My husband and I visited the Roosevelt Stables this past weekend. We reserved the "overlook Trail" option. It was such an enjoyable experience! Everyone there was so friendly and helpful. We rode the horses up the mountain, paused for some picture opportunities, and headed back down the mountain. The horses appeared healthy and happy. The stables were clean- it is... More

If you're in the area, this is a must try activity. The whole experience was just incredible. The staff is friendly and attentive. They treated us just like family. The horses are sweet and so well taken care of. Many of them (as we were informed) were rescued from abusive or neglectful situations. Now they thrive. There are many riding... More

Everything about our geocaching horseback ride was exceptional. Can't recommend it highly enough! Everyone in the organization is friendly and professional. First-rate customer service. They match horses to rider skills and provide clear and useful instructions. The geocache ride is a bit over an hour and you'll get 11 caches from horseback. Horses are so well trained and gentle that... More

We started with the 1 hour trail ride in the forest. We had so much fun we then took the 2 hour trail ride up to one of the Pine Mountain lookouts. The staff were all so nice and helpful.

My wife and I opted for the one hour ride. The staff was great and matched us with horses suited for our skill levels. Don't; expect to get up and gallop. This is a trail ride taken at a very slow pace. But the scenery is beautiful and it was well worth the time and money.

A nice ride through the FDR state park in Pine Mountain. I was a first time horse rider and had a great time. Before getting on the horse, you are given a short orientation and have the choice to wear a helmet or not. Wonderful staff and it looks like the horses are well taken care of.

This is a must do! This was my first time horseback riding. I was pretty nervous but the wonderful staff and volunteers were great. From the time we arrived on sight you can tell they genuinely care about the horses. We had a fantastic time and this was the highlight of our vacation to Pine Mountain. I will do it... More
