Very nice facility. Host was VERY attentive and helpful. There was free WiFi which I thought was awesome. Entire area was clean and WILL be returning.

We called this park to make reservations the day before our planned arrival. We were directed to visit the website and reserve a spot online. The online reservation process was cumbersome, but we successfully reserved a spot - Site 6. Upon arrival a sign read "if you have a reservation, continue to your site"... no checking in at a office.... More

We paid 15 .00 to fish and was there for 3 hours never got a bite. No boats or kyacks for rent cause most had holes in them. Asked if it had been restocked this year and the 2 men working didn't know. Never saw not one person with a fish. I asked if anyone had caught any fish today... More

This is a very well-kept, clean, quiet and affordable campground. Not too far out if you need to pick something that you forgot..The grounds are well-kept and easy to walk around. The bathhouse is clean and has good water pressure; the only thing they need to do to improve it is put some kind of ventilation in--cause in the hot... More

Fairly small yet family personal. Its got everything you need to have for a family get away. We lke the nearby large lake but saw this on the way and decided to go. Have fishing, small boat rentals and playground as well as swimming and picnic facilities. There is a separate camping area and the facilities are very well kept... More

Cute, clean park with nice facilities. Fall colors were amazing and the lake is beautiful. Excellent playgrounds. Camped for three nights over a long weekend, so the campground was busy. Clientele, was, how shall I saw this nicely... pretty redneck-y. But then again, one should probably expect that from a non-touristy-area campground basically in the middle of nowhere. We moved... Salacoa Creek is a county park and $18 per night including water and electric. Set on a lake (123 acres) it is in a nice area. The problem is the sites are very close together with little privacy. Restrooms were clean. Park was kept clean. But the closeness of the sites leads me to give them just an average rating.... More

This place is stunning. A gorgeous park that merits more visitors than it normally gets. However, don't plan on visiting during the colder months...for some reason, they don't like to open in fall or winter.

The lake is very nice and so peacefull... A great place to take the family for a picnic...It's a beautiful place to visit in the fall because the trees here are so vivid with all of the colors of the season. It's also a great place for a family reunion or a cookout.

We recently went and spent a long weekend at Salacoa Creek Park in Ranger, Georgia. This was the first time e had ever camped at this particular park, and I must say for what I wanted - it was awesome. The park caretaker is top notch, and the facilities are good. There are many pros that I could name that... More
