Very nice campground. Worth driving the extra distance from Rt 75 to get there, and $18/night is almost free. Nice views of the creek, along with a nature trail. Very hilly, but sites are level and paved.
We called this park to make reservations the day before our planned arrival. We were directed to visit the website and reserve a spot online. The online reservation process was cumbersome, but we successfully reserved a spot - Site 6.

Salacoa Creek is a county park and $18 per night including water and electric. Set on a lake (123 acres) it is in a nice area. The problem is the sites are very close together with little privacy. Restrooms were clean. Park was kept clean....More
This place is stunning. A gorgeous park that merits more visitors than it normally gets. However, don't plan on visiting during the colder months...for some reason, they don't like to open in fall or winter.
