Fun place to visit. The visitor's center was the best I have seen for children. The dress up box kept my seven boy engaged and he was very happy to dress up as a red coat. My younger son loved the old fashioned games. We...More

I had not expected this National Monument to have so much going on such as the lovely visitor center, informative movie, and artifiacts on display. Although there was a Fort, the real story is the town that existed outside the Fort. Archeological excavations have located the...More

Small but nice museum with unique relics. They offer a movie to tell the history as well. On a pretty day, you can walk the grounds and visit the remainder of the fort. Worth a stop, which you can combine with a visit to Christ...More

The park rangers are outstanding.......free admission. Bring bug spray! Well preserved ruins, layout of the area is presently clearly. Clean restrooms.

Interesting fort that served many years of protection. You can walk the streets of what used to be a thriving little town. Visited shortly after a hurricane passed through so it was a little messy but still kept the interest

Not being from the south, I am no as knowledgeable in history for this region. I am always amaized at what others before us endured, to establash a new land.

Fort Frederica National Monument is in a beautiful setting--was so nice to stroll along "Broad Street" to read the signs about the life and history in the Fort. Would definitely love to go back and have a picnic lunch under all of the beautiful trees!
