We took the train ride and found it to be alright but limited in its views so after some deliberation we decided to hike to the top of Stone Mountain. It was not as challenging as I expected, especially for myself and my daughter but...More

We visited on the Thursday before Memorial Day. They greeted us with a $15 parking fee. We went to the lot and started walk around. The place was a ghost town. We went and looked at the stone carving and took a few pictures. When...More

I like this park. Its scenic...large and has many things to do. I especially liked the old school stores that sell sodas and candies that you at when you were a kid. It's a family park. If you are brown-skinned though...you may not like their...More

How much are the individual attractions? For example, how much to ride the Skylift? (All I could see are these package-deal tickets which I'm not always a fan of.)

My wife and I want to attend the Easter Sunrise Service, this coming weekend. She is an avid hiker - I am not. I have pulmonary issues along with a weight issue :-( I am willing to try the climb and I have already researched it and alternatives like the lift. Is it possible to camp on top of the mountain the night before? If not, is it possible to camp near buy? I suppose the camping grounds are relatively close to the climbing path, yes? We both have military IDs and are seniors. Thanks! Dave & Peg Allen
