Beautiful Falls that you can see on an easy walk, if you choose. Or, if you so choose you can walk down 310 steep steps, cross the suspended bridge and back up some aggressive 347 steps. A very pleasant park either way. Really scenic.

We got there early and got our passes to go to the bottom floor. We had never done a long hike before (our hikes used to just be a mile or less!) but this was our first big one. We went in the summer, so...More

Missed fall leaves this weekend as leaves dropped due to rain/wind. Beautiful anyway. We went during the select weekends where the water is released for kayaking. Only 25 people can register ($15/pp) for a guided hike down to the gorge and watch kayakers at the...More

Hidden Gem in Northeast Georgia. Miles of trails to walk on that are nicely maintained. Great views of the gorge. The only downside is that it gets extremely crowded on the weekends during the warmer months.

This was too beautiful of a fall day to stay indoors so we drove to Tallulah Gorge and so glad we did. Lovely walking trail revealing lovely waterfalls and glorious landscapes. Wear good walking shoes, and don't forget to bring some water.

One of the prettiest places in north Georgia. Great outing for a day, hiking on the trails, such an amazing waterfall! It is a lot of walking, not for the weary. The visitor center is large with a nice selection of historical information and old...More

I absolutely loved hiking through this Gorge, however there are numerous stairs and if you can't handle going down and then back up them then do not go here. There are certain days when the Gorge is flooded as well so check the website for...More

You can do the main part in 1 day. 500 actual steps to bottom and 500 back up( difficult) but well worth it. The visitor's center and movie are well worth the extra time. There are some trails that might be difficult and... More

There is one grill at the picnic shelter available by reservation. The rest of the tables have no grills.
