Amazing place to visit, We only had about 1.5h as we were driving to Tallahassee. It is one of the last plantation with actual furnishings of the time.. If you like history this is a must. Also do not forget to check out Noah's ark...More

If visiting or driving in Southwestern Georgia we highly recommend stopping in to view the Pebble Hill Plantation... It is currently run through a foundation overseen by the descendants of the original owners......The grounds are magnificent and so well maintained. The Main House is beyond...More

This was our first visit and we really enjoyed touring the house and grounds. The staff were attentive and helpful. Loved the arbor and small maze outside. Some of the outbuildings ,such as the dog hospital, need upkeep. Overall, a great experience. Would definately recommend...More

When you get there, you see a 20 minute video and then head for the house for a guided tour departing every 30 minutes with a docent.... very easy...

Farmhand had the correct times, the earlier the better during the summer season as it can get very humid

Pebble Hill is open Tuesday-Saturday from 10am-5pm and Sunday from 12-5pm. First house tour on Sunday begins as 1pm, while all other days are 10:30am.
