Very well preserved plantation. Try to tour at Christmas, its breathtaking! Some walking required if you want to tour the grounds, but its not a great distance. Not usually crowded. Check ahead for tour times, a lot of events are scheduled here, including weddings.

We enjoyed our private tour with Ann Howell. We learned a lot about the house and its various inhabitants. Everything was authentic and that was so interesting. Easy to explore the grounds as well. Old cemetery is of interest and highlights the history of Thomasville.

This house is stunning. Old American money on show for all to see. Our guide Alan was fun and knowledgable. He showed a real love for the estate and its history. We paid $32 for two and, after some thought, we feel that was overpriced...More

I have been there 2x. Worth it both times but having the right docent makes it more valuable your time and money.

We happened to find this on our way back to Florida from Canada. The guided tour takes you through the main house, room by room. We had a former history teacher as our guide. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. NO PHOTOS ARE ALLOWED INSIDE...More

The grounds are so pretty and very large with lots to see. The house was beautiful and had lots of unusual art. Definitely worth a long visit.

I don't remember. We were unable to go inside due to a wedding that day. We spent almost two hours touring the grounds and outside buildings. Going back in December for the Christmas celebration they hold every year and plan... More
