It's a nice museum. The tour consists of a movie screening, followed by a tour of the cocoa processing facilities, and lastly a food and drink tasting session. Tip: Get your hotel concierge to call ahead and let them know you're coming; you can walk in but you'll have to wait about 15 minutes for the guide to come in from somewhere else.

Very simple museum that is worth a visit if you need to kill an afternoon in tawau. It’s around 15 minutes from central Tawau in a taxi. Staff were very friendly and informative. The drinking chocolate was delicious and you are able to buy some from the gift shop afterwards. Enjoyable trip.

We went there on our own accord did not realize that we need to make appointment. Luckily there was a small group which had been arranged so we managed to join that group which was half an hour later. It was an educational visit about cocoa and a glace of the old cocoa factory which was abandoned for a few years due to economic reason. At the end of the tour was a sampling session with cocoa products and drink. The staff there were friendly.

Dear Sir/Madam, first of all thank you for your positive ratings with us. =) We are glad that you are satisfied with the tour. If you just want to drop by to have a visit, there is no need to make appointment, unless you need a guided tour. Recently we have managed to shorten the tour booking time. If you happen to drop by during working days, we are managed to arrange tour for you on the spot (waiting time 10-20 minutes). However, it is best to book in advance in order to prevent clashing with other big groups, such as school group. Thank you and we hope to see you again!

Tawau is a small city, and it is a small museum but not much of information there. The tour is 4 parts: - History of cocoa, but not much, the guide just told the story of the founder of the factory. - Movie session, it is just an advertisement. - Factory visit, not bad, it is about machinery and process. - Serving part, which you served with local candies and chocolates, interesting and different tastes, and too sweet.
