We had ridden in the car all day and needed a quick stretch. Stopped and paid the $5 state fee. We had a clean enough place to potty and change into comfy clothes. We walked the lake trail which is under construction so the loop is blocked but still enjoyed crossing the bridge and walking back for a total of... More

We needed to get away for a camping fix. The forcast of rain and near-freezing temps was not encouraging, but we needed to hone our inclement weather camping skills. LSW State Park is a very nice, open, lakefront facility with lots of different kinds of accomodations. Camping in their lakefront campground, covered picnic paviions, cabins, primitive camping sites, and meeting... More

The camping area is not very large, so no big crowds. It is on a lake and is well cared for. There are several new cabins for those who are not campers.

beautiful park and great place to hold a haunted hayride. I was one of the helpers. The cabins and the hayride were all within easy walking distance. Would go again to see the park

Didn't see any gators. Enjoyed the picnic area with friends. Calm peaceful day in summer. There was a scheduled activity for children to make bird feeders.

We love to drive the extra miles to play Laura S. Walker's golf course! Reasonably priced under $30/18 holes, the course is very quiet during the week, and we almost feel as if we have our own course, especially once school has started. The course is challenging but fair for a moderate golfer like us. Greens were in bad shape... More
