Came here with friends and it's always awesome to see the variety of animals that he Boise zoo has to offer. It is as large and full of variety as any big city zoo and filled with as much entertainment for all ages.

Its cozy, quiet and rarely gets packed. A wonderful mix of animals and a family continuous retreat. I'd leave a 5 star if there was better service at the food or drink places, the food is actually pretty good but either understaffed or lacking technological services that helps with automation and/or service. Logistics of knowing when it gets full or... More

Zoo Boise has improved greatly since I was a teen in the 1970s. It's really a nice city zoo. I smile whenever I'm riding my bike through Julia Davis Park on the Boise Greenbelt. Parkgoers love looking over to see the heads of the zoo's giraffes poking over the wall. Inside, the view of the giraffes and all of the... More

While the Boise Zoo is small, it fits the city perfectly. You are able to see quite a few animals in a short hours visit. There are rumors that they are about to start adding on to the zoo.

First to be honest...I'm a little bias because I volunteer at Zoo Boise. That said, if you have kids it is great! For a small city the size of Boise it is a great zoo! Lions, Giraffes, red pandas, snow lion, sloth bear...you can't go wrong. Make sure you take the "Conservation Cruise" just to the right of the entrance...you... More

The Boise Zoo is really a nice addition to downtown. Great collection of animals, good habitat, very clean. Makes for a nice family outing.

This zoo is surprisingly good for a smaller town. Close up with the tigers is cool but no elephants.

Great break in busy workday. Walking through is like being in a park with animals as guests. Even though it's always hard to see any animal caged, it's a great resource for young and old to see live the different species that make us this great, wonderful part of nature.

Boise Zoo is a clean and beautiful sanctuary for the amazing animals that call it home. A perfect place to spend the day with the family.
