Driving through the North End of Boise makes you think you are in a different part of the country. The tree-lined streets are so calming and the set-back homes exhibit such beauty and grandeur. It's easy to see why people want to live there.

The North End hosts Hyde Park Street Fair at Camels Back Park every September. It is a fun time for people of all ages and lots of dogs. There is always great music and yummy food. A must do for us every year

What a great place to walk and get a flavor of old Boise. You will find 100 year old bungalows, beautiful historic small mansions and a few newer homes. A great place to see Boise as it was 50 - 100 years ago. If the local parks don't give you the idea of Boise as the City of Trees, the... More

This is a road of beautiful old homes and stately hiuses. The tree lined streets just remind you of another time. Small town with a lot of charm.

Local restaurants, book stores, and more await you along 13th st. The surrounding neighborhood that creates the northend is full of quaint homes and cottage gardens.

City of Trees- the old north end has wonderful tree lined streets, many of which the trees form a canopy. The feeling of small town America and how towns looked before suburban growth. wonderful place for a leisurely bike ride or even a nice car ride..especially in a convertible. North end has several sub-neighborhoods, each with its own character.

Just kidding. This neighborhood is the trendy area of Boise. It's the older part of Boise. It's safe during the night.

Drive up Tree lined Harrison Blvd with nice houses and grab a beer at Highland Hollow brew pub. Take a Yoga Class at the Yoga Tree of Boise. Let the kids play at Camels back park then drive down 13th St. to Hyde park and enjoy dinner at one of 4 restaurants and bars.

North End is very different from the other parts of Boise, and equally beautiful. It is surely worth the visit - be sure to have a hot cocoa at Goody's Candy Store at 13th and make some nice pictures
