Perfect traik to enjoy the lake for all the family. Make sure you make time to enjoy the small beaches halfway through the trail.

Nice trail that is well marked and full of scenery! The loop took us about an hour to complete. It looked like there were other trails too but we stayed on the main one.

My wife and I were recently in Coeur d'Alene and I'd read on Trip Advisor what a great place Tubbs Hill was. So I convinced my wife, who Did Not have the best hiking shoes on, to give it a bit of a go. We...More

This nature trail is located in downtown Coeur d'Alene. There are several lookout points with beautiful views of the lake and a gravel beach halfway down the trail. The terrain is uneven, so wear a sturdy pair of shoes.

Tubbs Hill is a nice walk...park at the Public Parking area just east of the boat ramp near the "big" hotel. You'll have great views of the northern part of Lake Coeur d'Alene. Be sure to bring a camera!

So I'm biased; I live here. I walk to Tubbs weekly to hike with my dogs, swim off the rocks in the summer, and just drink in the view of Lake Coeur d'Alene. There are a few small beaches to enjoy, as well. Located downtown,...More

Not real smooth or level terrain. Views are often good. Yes there are small beaches for resting or swimming. In mid September the water was still pleasant for swimming (upper 70's?). No cost, free parking, drinking water and basic bathrooms available.

Loved the area where we hiked. The smell of pine trees and the view of the lake was amazing. We hiked it twice.

No! The trail is very narrow in places and it is not paved at all. It is mostly an uphill grade & then back down again. If you want to take an awesome walk on level, paved trails try the bike trail (Trail of the Coeur d... More

Tubbs Hill is not wheelchair friendly, unfortunately it is a dirt trail that is narrow with many stumps, rocks, and unevenness.
