Visited after Labor Day when the outside temps had started to dip. Does take awhile to drive the 4 or so miles once you get on the gravel washboard road. Was not disappointed with the choice of temps in multiple pools. As said in other...More

As we drove over miles of dirt road, we wondered if Gold Fork Hot Springs stays open during the winter. I hope someone clears the roads because this is a great place to visit any time of year. You might expect something seedy or rundown,...More

Six miles up rough gravel roads to find this gem! There are five pools of various temperatures. All a very clean an one has a sand bottom. You can bring your own food and drinks (no glass). Can't wait to go back in the winter!

There wasn't a lot of people, but it's probably not the best time to visit in the summer. The pools were very clean. We spent time in the pool, playing chess, went down to the creek for a picnic, very lovely day. Can't wait till...More

We really enjoyed these Hotsprings, the main pool was perfect temperature and really liked how it had the big boulders right there. My only complaints were the road there (bumpy) and the changing room smelt like cat piss or I would have gave 5 stars.

The 6 mile drive in was the worst and I am used to forest service roads. Many huge potholes very very rough road. Don't even attempt it in a low clearance vehicle over 5mps and be very careful if it's dark out. The actual pool...More

A great place to stay is about 7 miles away in the town of Cascade. The Ashley Inn is a great place to use as base camp after a day of hiking or soaking. My family loves its warmth and charm!

We liked the Best Western In McCall. It's a little further than Donnelly, but it's very centrally located for vacationing.
