Tubing was fun, Waterpark was as expected but a little chilly, room had no toilet paper, dirty dishes and had to listen to some drunk guy in the gate accessed parking lot yelling. Definitely lost sleep on this trip. For a $487/night bill, this definitely did not fit it.

Please, please, please do not waste a dime of your money at this shoddy resort/hotel. When we first checked in, we were horrified to see pubic hair and men’s beard trimmings in the sink in the bathroom of our unit. Normally we would have requested to move rooms knowing that the room was not properly cleaned. However, we were exhausted from three days of travel, and decided to stay put so that we could make use of the last two hours of the waterslide park for the day. What a mistake that was not asking to be moved….My wife and our three kids spent the rest of the entire night, tossing and turning as a family with a small baby kept us up all night in the room next-door. Being a parent obviously I’ve been there and experienced the frustration of a sleepless night with an infant, however, I’m specifically pointing blame at the hotel in this particular case. The walls are paper thin, and even before the baby started crying we could hear every word of the conversation that was happening in the room next to us. Needless to say, an entire sleepless night ruined our next day of skiing that we had so anxiously looked forward to. After a half day on the mountain my kids were exhausted and I had to take them back down. We also planned to ski the following day but my kids could not get out of bed as they were exhausted and feeling sick from not having slept the entire night before. After trying to sell some of my remaining ski tickets we had purchased as part of a package with the hotel, the manager came out and demanded that I get off the property saying I was not able to resell my tickets there. At that point, I decided to go inside the hotel, and see if they would accommodate our inability to ski because of the sleepless night the day before, and they gave us pennies on the dollar for the tickets. Even after explaining the entire situation to the hotel manager, Ashlee, She said she would research it and get back to me with a way to discount the rooms for us for our inconvenience. After returning to my room, she then called me and accused me of selling tickets the day before as if I’m some sort of scalper or something. What a complete joke and lack of respect for hotel clients/customers. She refused to offer any sort of discount not even the removal of our cots that we requested for our third child. While the concept seems great with kids having a waterpark and skiing, the hotel rooms and cleanliness were atrocious, and the staff specifically the manager Ashley were appalling in their lack of concern for clients. Needless to say we will never be back to this hotel again.

Dec 21, 2023. The tube routes were disappointing due to low snow spots. The lack of recent snowfall is no fault of the employees, but the maintenance of the routes are. Each time, people were getting stuck halfway down the routes; three of four were open. An employee would push a tube but then gave up and we were on our own to get moving again. At one point the employees set out eight hard bottom tubes. These worked much better. There were approximately 25-30 people here. When asked for more hard bottom tubes we were told they weren’t inflated. So paid patrons are getting stuck on routes that are not being maintained and the employees aren’t going to inflate the tubes that do work. We were underwhelmed and bummed the event was a bust.

We took the cable car up to the top of the mountain , the longest gondola in America 3.1 miles takes about 20 mins to get to the top . A bit scary if you’re like me scared of heights . View is amazing up there so worth it . Staff was friendly

The location is great. So is the water park. We were not impressed by the resort. First off, check in is 5pm, check out is 11am. That's ridiculous! So if you need the room Saturday afternoon, you have to book Friday as well (which we did).
Our room/deluxe suite was not very clean. The furniture is worn out & smelled funky. One of the extra blankets in the cupboard appeared to have not been washed. It had hair, grass, & a bug carcass in it. The shower curtain rod was loose & hanging down, allowing the curtain to drag in the tub. Maintenance did correct the curtain rod as well as a problem with the bathroom door (these should've been reported by housekeeping & fixed prior). For the price, I expected better!
The best thing about this place was being able come & go at the waterpark.

I was charged almost $3000 for two rooms. It was only supposed to be $800. I think for what you get for $800 it is not worth it. You cant even check into your room until 5pm and you are expected to be out before 11am. So essentially you are paying $400 per room for 18 hours to stay and the "queen sleeper" is not a bed. Its a couch pull out that is very lumpy as the mattress is 3 inches deep.

Silver Cypress spa- The facility was dirty, massage oil was rancid, I had to ask for a clean robe and cradle cover for my face. The robe had dirty bandaid in pockets and stunk. Cradle cover was dirty. Massage therapist was rude the entire massage. Not relaxing because she was so abrasive and rude. I’m sorry I wasted my money and time. I’m trying to get ahold of management and no one will contact me.

The boys had a great experience doing the bike park while the pup and I enjoyed the mountain house and the hike to Kellogg peak. The mtn house manager, Courtney, was a great help in figuring out a dog friendly activity.

The place is great but some of the beds are awful. I feel like I got ran over by a train in some of the rooms when I wake up in the morning. Beds are completely worn out. I’m here for work and there is usually no Wi-Fi and this whole week I have had no tv. The Wi-Fi has always been an issue here. They are always “working on it”. I won’t stay again. My back can’t take it and I can’t get any work done.

We had a fantastic family ski vacation at Silver Mountain. Our family of 5 stayed in a 1 bedroom condo in the Lodge. It would have been nice to have the 2 bedroom but it worked. There was a gas fireplace and washer/dryer in the unit. Coffee provided daily to make in your room.

Loved having the full kitchen. There were no breakfast options at the lodge - so plan on making breakfast in your room if you want to get out early to ski. Otherwise you’ll need to drive to a restaurant in town. There are a few restaurants that serve breakfast in the resort village but they have limited hours and staffing right now especially during the week. The coffee shop was only open one of the three mornings that we were there, and even though they have a menu of breakfast sandwiches, there was only one person working so the kitchen was closed. Food in the water park is standard fried/processed American food: burgers, fries, onion rings, etc. They do serve a Beyond vegan burger. Three out of our 5 family members are vegan/plant based so we made most of our food in the room and took lunch with us when we went up to ski. Same standard American fare offered at the top of the mountain (no Beyond burger though).

We all had to rent gear which was easy with reservations ahead of time. Kids did two private lessons (first time skiers) and we were riding the lifts together as a family the first day. The bunny hill is a very gentle slope with a magic carpet - easy for first timers, and plenty of short green runs off of two chairlifts for beginners.

We had clear, sunny, very cold weather, but beautiful views of snow capped mountains all around. It’s an easy mountain to navigate and learn quickly. This was our first time visiting and kids are asking when we can do it again. Our first day of skiing was cancelled because of severe weather - but all lift tickets, lessons, etc refunded without issue.

The water park was fun. We spent several hours there the first day then just a couple each evening after skiing.
