I stopped at the Sawtooth Botanical Garden not expecting too much & was most pleasantly surprised at the amazing and diversified plantings that were displayed. Being a member of a botanical garden at home, I was skeptical at first. The hour and a half spent there was in retrospect a most memorable experience and I am so glad to have... More

This is a really small garden, but the variety of flowers, the colors, and the placement of them were very beautiful. There is a prayer wheel, a small flowing water, and beautiful walkways. There is no real entrance fee but there is a donation request.

The garden is lovely and the flowers and plants change with the seasons. A nice place to take a stroll and relax in the shade.

The Sawtooth Botanical Garden isn't very well known, but it should be. It's a relaxing stop near Hailey and Ketchum. You can stroll the gardens and see many flowers and trees native to the high elevation areas of Idaho and the West. A real gem here is the prayer wheel, donated in 2005 by the Dali Lama of Tibet and... More

I love this place. I drive WAY out of my way to stop here. I take houseguests here from Boise whenever I can. I am utterly grateful for this wonderful little restorative treasure.

We enjoyed the surrounding fall color and mountain views as well as the content of the garden. There is a very lovely Tibetan pavilion and sculptures and water features. It is certainly worth a stop as you head to or from Ketchum.

Just pull in off the hwy. This is a place most people never take time to enjoy. You will find an amazing gift here. The preyer wheel is out standing and when you see how special this is you will know why I find it such a special place in the mountains. The volunteers are wonderful and the love for... More

This Garden is located off Highway 75, not far south of Ketchum, Idaho (mid-way to Hailey). There is no fee (at present), but donations are welcome. There is plenty of parking, on gravel. Most of the Garden is wheelchair-accessible. There is no food or drink available. There is a single restroom, in the Headquarters building. The staff there were eager... More

I didn't have high expectations based on the other reviews but we had some extra time and it was on the way to where we were going. Poor folks look like they need more resources. I appreciate the time and effort by the volunteers, but it's not really a tourist destination
