This inn is right in the middle of town. The place is rather run down, but there are seven pools that are different temperatures. Nice place to spend a couple hours.

Our room had spider webs, a leaking 'solarium', old doors, messed up light switches - and some cheesy 'faux fireplace' light on the wall. The heater should have been replaced in the 50's...the doors 'shut themselves' - the 'Hot Tub' took for-ever and a day to fill. The carpet - well, my wife put towels on the carpet so we... More

This is my favorite spot to rest and relax while in Idaho. The pools are hot and authentic. The vibe is the best thing about this place. Very chill, laid back and comfortable. You can sense the history and some say that it's haunted. A lot of interesting characters cruise through here. I've met an exotic gypsy, wealthy business folk,... More

A couple of things about this Euro-style pension. 1. Don't miss staying here if you plan on an overnight or two in Lava Hot Springs. The folks who run it are accommodating and cheerful. The morning breakfast is plentiful and goes beyond cold cereal and fruit cups. 2. The pools. I'll say it again-- the pools! They are restful and... More

My friend and I go for a getaway every year. This year was the 19th year in a row. Normally we go in May but this year we had to go in July. There are a ton more people during the season so if you go up during the season be prepared for that. I love this hotel and will... More

Was given room 4. It had a double bed, a small corner dresser, a night stand and a small chair. There were two community bathrooms across the hall. No t.v., so very relaxing. They have pools on both sides with live music at night while you soak. The Inn is just off the Main Street and close enough to the... More

If you know what you're getting into from the start, you won't be disappointed. It's a very old place, not a Ramada Inn. People complain about the noise and the fact that it's not updated. Sure, it's all true, but they've done a heck of a job with what they have to work with. The river is right in the... More

I have stopped here a few time on my way back from Montana to Colorado. The springs provide a great soak in natural water. There are a number of pool at different temperatures. I have not stayed the night but I did check out one of the rooms and it looked nice.

This is the place to really relax in the hot springs. The pools are way less crowded here and the accommodation are way more inviting. It's a $10 charge but it is well worth it.

Did not enjoy this stay. It is a clean place. Very outdated - stuck in the 70-80's. No TV's in the rooms, always loud outside with all the people that come for the hot springs pools. Needs updated and not quite up to code on some things. Would not recommend to others.
