Bear lake is a great place to go with families even with the high water. The beach is fine sand perfect for little feet. There are restrooms on site (not flushing). Bring a lunch or grab delicious snacks from the bear cave. I suggest bringing...More

Loved the beach. Great sand. Shallow for the kids. Get there early on the summer weekends. Car might get stuck if you go late August

We traveled to Bear Lake today and it was awesome. The lake appears has gone down a bit because you could see where the lake once was found at. The lake had the same Caribbean turquoise blue water that is found all over the Caribbean....More

The turquoise color hits you long before you realize that is is quite the majestic lake in the midst of some beautiful mountains near the Oregon Trail. Such clear water too!
