Tremendous Views

Came up the Lemhi pass and had this point all to myself on a perfect sunny day. A dip in the nearby springs completed the day.

Came up the Lemhi pass and had this point all to myself on a perfect sunny day. A dip in the nearby springs completed the day.

My wife and I visited this site on 8/30/16 as we were driving down from Lemhi Pass. We took the whole loop road and stopped to see historical sites during the trip.

thanks to another reviewer in oct 2014, we looked this place up. google lemhi pass atv trails and learn about access to the lewis and clark backcountry byway that is a 39 mile well marked loop that goes up to the continental divide that includes a sacajawea memorial and beautiful wildflowers everywhere. stage your ride from the sharkey hot springs... If you are a history buff and like exploring the Lewis and Clark trail, this is worth a visit. If you have the ability to get there and then to the top of Lemhi Pass the scenery is amazing!!!!! Dirt roads, some quite thrilling, so do your homework.....very weather dependent as to whether Lemhi Pass is open. You have good... More
