Spent a couple of hours enjoying the summit of Schweitzer with family and a few libations. Even on a warm summer day, the summit was nice and cool. The lift tickets are a little pricey. In hindsight, we should have planned for more time to...More

We drove up for the beautiful view. It did not disappoint us. It was breathtaking! We want to try to stay at the Selkirk Lodge. The village at the top looks interesting. Fun places to eat and shop.

The "Nature Trail" at Schweitzer is our favorite and most scenic hike in the Northwest. it's not really a "nature trail" but more of a 1500' vertical climb in 2.5 miles. Well worth it though and lots of scenic views along the way. And now...More

This is my favorite Ski Resort in the world. Lots of moms and dads teaching their toddlers to ski at the same time they learn to walk. Really sweet.
