The Willis tower is a tedious system of lines. We were fortunate enough to buy Fast Passes ahead of time (it didn't do too much because we went on a Friday morning and it was nearly empty). But they stop you every 10 feet for...More

I had the amazing opportunity to have a private dinner on the Skydeck and viewed the city and its beauty at night, I highly recommend this. You can look on their website for more info and details.

They’ve changed the entrance to the tower since I last visited- you now go to the main entrance to the tower, down two escalators to the ticket desk. After having your tickets and bags checked there’s quite a lot of interesting facts about the tower...More

The Skydeck Chicago provides fantastic views of Chicago city as well as to the coastline. There is a 'ledge' which has a glass bottom which you can stand on and take photos for free. A fun experience that suits all ages.

Definetly go to see the sunset here! It's around $25 a ticket if I'm not mistaken. There's always people but there's always lines so you can take a good photo

I am not keen on being high up in the sky, but this was awesome. The enclosed, clear walk out viewing platforms are amazing. Great photo opportunity.

We went on a day where there was zero visibility and the staff warned us several times to not give them money for the tickets ($29/each), which I found refreshing. We decided to go anyways and it was still pretty awesome. You go up to...More

Visited on a Thursday morning at 9.45 am. Walked straight into elevator to top without queuing except for security screening which did not fill me with confidence. Bought tickets online but were not even checked / looked at. You can purchase tickets at the site....More

Downtown / The Loop
Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a
good starting point to sample the city's energy and
flavor. This central business district boasts
Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier
shopping, and enough arresting architecture to keep
your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many
photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of
Millennium Park and Cloud Gate (“The Bean”), one of

Ask the front desk before you pass security. I had a coat check option on the 82nd floor, but it will be where you end up, most likely not at the bottom/entrance.

We didn't buy the fast pass. We went early (9:30-10:00) on a weekday and we're at the top in under 30 min. That includes buying the tickets and going through security.
