There are so many things to say about this Museum....I have been there at least fifty times over the last 30 years. You must inquire about the special Exhibits and at least buy a ticket to one..both if you can afford it. This is not...More

This place is huge! We could have spent all day here. There were fun activities for the whole family. The art was very interesting with a broad array of topics and regions. I would go here again.

My most recent visit we spent most of our time exploring the Chinese art exhibit, which is pretty amazing and with excellent explanations written by the artifacts and on the audio.

Used Go Chicago Card for this visit. I made a quick walk though. I wasn't that impressed as a solo traveler, but glad I went on such a cold day. This is a huge museum, so plan to spend some time here.

I was not prepared for how large this place actually is! I was impressed. We were there for almost 4 hours without actually feeling the time fly by. The coat and bag check was lovely too as it was 20°F outside but well warm inside....More

Busy, but not too crowded on a Friday late morning through afternoon. Very efficient ticket sales and coat check. I bought the Visitors Guide for $7. Not really worth it when there's a good map of the museum. Many great collections, particularly the Impressionists, with...More

My wife and I visit everytime we come to Chicago. Her favorite picture ever hangs there - and we bought a print to hang in the house. If you enjoy sculpture or paintings, a must see if Chicago
