Another one of Chicago's gems - came for the above exhibit, and loved it. Much else to see at this great museum but highly recommend you see The Octopus Eats Its Own Leg before it's gone.

I would have liked to have seen a greater variety of artists works within the spaces. The feature artist had the entire 4th floor for this works, from start to present. It was interesting to see the progression of his ideas presented through other artists...More

I went on a Tuesday, because it's free for Illinois residents. I went in the summer, so the Farmer's Market was in front of the Museum. Two great things before I ever went in !!! The exhibits were diverse, interesting and well curated. One easy...More

I'm not a fan of contemporary art but I visited with my artistic friend and we had a great time (not sure if that was due to the museum or the company :-)). The museum seems to be well curated and there were lots of...More

WE went to the Muakami exhibition and were wowed by the docent's tour. Our docent Ray, was one of the most knowledgeable and entertaining docents I've encountered at an art museum. The Murakami exhibition was outstanding, and the insight of his works were explained in...More

Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy
Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of
restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities.
You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the
docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the
captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you
enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you
can also visit other popular attractions there such as

I don't have an answer but I thought you might want to try a phone number posted on the museum's website for the "Performance Programs" area: 312-397-4085
