We went on a weekday in the morning and the place was totally empty. We took the ride on the ferries wheel and we enjoyed nice views of the city. Nothing spectacular. There are better things to do in that amazing city.

As a first-time tourist, I wasn't totally thrilled about the idea of walking the pier but aside from my foot pain, it was a beautiful sight to see--inside had some great spaces too!

Many restaurants were closed. But again there were not that many people around. It must be completely different in the summer time. Will have to come back!

Handy place to look at the lake and grab a bite to eat. Beautiful views of the frozen lake at this time of year and very empty. I understand this isn’t the case in the summer. You get some nice views of the Chicago skyline...More

Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy
Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of
restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities.
You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the
docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the
captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you
enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you
can also visit other popular attractions there such as
