This is a lovely place to browse and take some time to relax and rejuvenate, especially during cold, blustery winter days in Chicago. The annual Christmas display is always beautiful. This is close to Lincoln Park Zoo so you can make a day of it...More

I visited the conservatory along with the Lincoln zoo as these two are adjacent; in fact one of the zoo exits leads directly to the conservatory. I especially enjoyed the Orchid House and the Palm House.

Beautiful plants. Could get crowded and less enjoyable in the summer. Nice easy walk through the rooms with many different plants and flowers to view.

There is no admission fee and parking on the street is free on Cannon Drive, although it is hard to find an open space.
Can you park at one location and easily walk the zoo and the conservatory? My husband has a bad knee and can't do too much but I don't want to pay for parking twice.

It's a bit of a walk, easily done though and if his knee isn't too bad there are plenty of places to take a break. Very pretty walk through the park.
