I absolutely love flowers and plants, and this place definitely has it. It was a bit popular when I went since it was a nice day, but still was enjoyable. I love how it is free as well.

A huge greenhouse with several rooms branching off the main gallery, this is a charming spot for strolling, particularly on a cold or rainy day. We came in spring and toured the main room, then went into some of the smaller areas. The best was...More

So lush and colorful! I loved my visit to the conservatory. Especially the beautiful flowers, gorgeous colors. There are a number of benches where you can sit and enjoy the flowers.

A wonderful walk through Lincoln Park and you end up at a really pleasant conservatory. If you’re interested in flowers and fauna this is a must. Free entry and at the end of April to early May there is also a wonderful flower display.

This conservatory is very nice, warm and full of plants, as you would expect. It is free and right next to the Zoo, so you can do both - the zoo is free too. It makes for a nice half day in Chicago.

This is a really nice stop! Right next to the Zoo and very close to the beach.. No reason not to stop by if you are in the area!

The Conservatory is an excellent place to visit during Chicago winters because it is heated to tropical standards inside to help the plants grow. I wish there were more benches to sit and watch the plants grow. Be sure to find the dinosaurs scattered around...More

Beautiful glass facility with stunning ferns and flowers. If the Flower Show is in town, definitely a must -see! A lovely place to spend the day! Even better place for a small wedding!

Especially comforting to see brightly colored flowers and lush greenery in the middle of a gloomy windy early spring day, when summer seems so far away still.

There is no admission fee and parking on the street is free on Cannon Drive, although it is hard to find an open space.
