Since I was in Chicago I really wanted to go to a jazz club but since I was traveling by myself I was a bit weary where to go and if it wouldn't be strange to sit there by myself. Well I can tell you that at Andy's that is not at all the case I sat at the bar... More

I love this bar, the jazz singer Alyss was amazing apparently its her first week at Andy's and she was very good. I ended up staying for 2.5 hrs because the service was so friendly, the music awesome and my cajun shrimp risotto very delicious. Andy's now my favourite jazz bar in Chicago.

If you like Jazz and good food, here is a place to go near the Frontelake trail. The band was great and the food is excellent. Nice bar, not too croudy and the sound is good. The service is very professionnal and people are friendly...we'll go back for sure!

For jazz lovers, this is the place to go downtown Chicago. The meals are pretty decent too, best you order a variety of snacks and starters to share. The only gap to a truly great place is the harsh, even rude service. Also the entrance fee has to be paid in cash, no CC accepted; pretty obsolete... Overall, a great... More

The officious, unfriendly Hostess didn't spoil our night. The Jazz was excellent. The band, a quintet, has been together for 17 years and it showed! This venue seems to be the leading jazz club in Chicago. Has a great athmosphere. Although advised by our hotel concierge not to eat here, we did and the food was fine - it's pub... More

Awesome music and location downtown. The musicians were top notch and entertaining. The service was good and the food was good as something to munch on while we listened.

I love going a bit out of the core the jazz and blues bars however if you want to stay right downtown this is a great spot to stop by for cocktails and jazz. $10 cover is typically for the band (people in front of us were complaining about the charge) and that's a reasonable price for an evening of... This place has really good live Jazz musicians! It was a 5 piece band and they were very talented and experienced. We had drinks and a few appetizers. The food was average, hence the 4 stars. The staff is very nice and attentive. Worth a visit for sure!!

Amazing music. There is cover charge. Menus are light up due to dim interior; nice touch but a lil bright. Service was off. Beers were empty and didn't ask if we wanted another but did keep water full. Food is pretty good. But the big draw is definitely music. Tables have time limits on occasions.

One night at Andy's is a must do every time I go to Chicago. Live music starts late afternoon and continues late; cover charge of $10 is reasonable and some hotels give discount coupons. Food is ok and medium priced. You go for the music!. Time at tables is limited to 2 hours, but after that you can stand around... More
