We've seen a couple of shows here - Taming of the Shrew and Brothers Q A Christmas Carol. Both were excellent. The theaters are intimate, not a bad seat in the house and the acting is great with inventive staging.

I have been bringing budding Bardologists to appreciate the work of the Chicago Shakes for over a decade. In that time I have only been disappointed in the failure of the theatre-going public to recognize and celebrate this extraordinary voice for classical theatre. I have...More

We went with our kids to see Madagascar! It was excellent! We've seen a bunch of shows here and every single one of them did not disappoint. One word of advice, even if the parking lot on site says it's full, you can still park...More

If you are in Chicago around the Thanksgiving through New Years, definitely check out the Q Brothers, "Christmas Carol." I've seen their productions since the early 2000's. They have been doing Rap Shakespeare way before "Hamilton" appeared. Their version of a "Christmas Carol" is excellent....More

Saw Taming of the Shrew last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cast was outstanding as they shifted between their two roles. The venue is delightful, there isn't a bad seat. Can't recommend it highly enough. If you can, GO!

I have seen two shows at the CST, and both knocked it out of the park. This past weekend I attended opening night of "The Taming of the Shrew," and it was fantastic. The acting was excellent and the new framework created for the play...More

Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy
Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of
restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities.
You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the
docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the
captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you
enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you
can also visit other popular attractions there such as

Hello Vanessa, great question! The Theater has no formal dress code—so wear whatever makes you most comfortable. Some audience members dress up (dresses, heels, etc), but you're just as likely to see people wearing jeans. On... More

I believe it's a limited run show right now. You'll have to check and see if it's extended.
