The Joffrey Ballet of Chicago is a company of consistently high quality dancers and creative artistry. From classics to modern performances, they don't disappoint. They perform at the Auditorium Theater in Chicago which is easy to get to, and there is plenty of parking, restaurants, and other attractions nearby.

Every October Chicago architects host OPEN HOUSE CHICAGO...an opportunity to tour MANY Chicago landmarks and business behind the scenes. If you get the opportunity to participate at the Joffrey Tower you will see rehearsal rooms, costumes and meeting rooms. You will get a feel for the amount of work that needs to happen to keep the show going.

I highly recommend taking n a Joffrey Ballet performance. The dancers are exquisite. The sets are beautifully designed. People young and old enjoy this production. The matinees are perfect for families with younger children. We have seen the Nutcracker and Cinderella. With plans to return again this fall for Romeo and Juliet.

Decided to go to the Saturday performance. Ticket purchased the same morning, seat up close and perfect, packed house, champagne, music, dancing excellent. Didn't want it to end. Bought a tee shirt souvenir. As an aside, lost my scarf there. Called the office later, got a call back and picked up my scarf a few days later. Very nice.

I have been a subscriber of the Joffrey for 15+ years, and am always impressed with the quality of performance. They have a great blend of classical repertoire, new works, and more modern pieces. There is something for everyone in each season.

We try to see the Nutcracker show every other year because it's amazing although pricey. It is so worth it though, the costumes and the dancers are all incredible. This year, we sat in the boxes and the seats were great.

The final season of the Robert Joffrey choregraphed Nutcracker. It was breathtakingly beautiful. This Christmas Classic brought me back to the first time I saw it when I was a little girl. The Snow King and Queen were amazing and talented. The entire cast was fabulous!

I love the ballet and have been wanting to go to the Joffrey for years. We were able to see The Nutcracker this weekend and it was superb. What beautiful talent these dancers have. Everything was stunning.

Anyone who loves the Nutcracker should see the final shows of the beautiful Robert Joffrey choreography before it is retired on December 27th. The ballet is two hours including the 20 minute intermission. The atmosphere is warm and festive at the beautiful Auditorium Theatre. This show is appropriate for all but the youngest children (age 5 and up) and you... More
