Sheffield's is one of the best bars in the area if not the city. They've got everything any beer lover could want and bar wise their food is a cut or two above most, I thoroughly recommend getting the nachos.

A great Bar just far enough away from Wrigley to keep a neighborhood feel and friendly attitude. If you walk south of the Ballpark & South of Clark you will find Sheffields on School St corner. Friendly Bartenders and patrons make you feel welcome, even if you are over 40, 50, or 60. The outdoor area is big and welcoming... More

Mysteriously tried charging me for things that I never bought, at prices that were not on their menu, and then blamed me for their mistake. Then they claimed they were going to refund my bill and instead charged my card 3 times - accenting their stupidity. I can't tell if the people who run the place are stupid or just... More

Recently visited before going to watch baseball at Wrigley Field. Above standard bar food accompanied by a great selection of local draught beers. Very spacious outside space with good TV viewing if you need a sports fix. Would happily return.

From the BBQ from their own smoker in the back, to the "Best outdoor beer garden in the US." to the massive selection of specialty beers, this bar wins in every single category in Chicago. Not only the best bar in Wrigleyville/Lakeview, but the best bar in the city!

What a great spot! We stopped for drinks before a Cubs' game, and I think we would have been hard pressed to find a better place. The staff were incredibly friendly, and didn't seem at all put off that were weren't going to be eating. We completely enjoyed our stop and will definitely go back.

Sheffield's is a little off the beaten path from Wrigley, but well worth it. We all had BBQ sandwiches, and being from Texas high standards, but they were met. Extensive beer list with specials from a rotating list of local Brewers. Much better than your typical bud light bar outside the ballpark. I would definitely come back next time.

We stopped in after a Cubs game, place was really crowded but service was pretty good considering. All of us had one drink and decided to go to a place where we could sit and talk. I guess if your here early before a game or first to arrive after could be better.

Stopped here before we went to the Cubbys game. Got to try some local Chicago Beers. They were decent and service was good considering how busy they were.
