Thank you Bloomingdales for saving this old temple that was about to be torn down. You made it a show piece for you home line and it is beautiful . All the employee are friendly and helpful. Loved the "coffee guy" from Nespresso.

Wife was here to shop. I was fascinated by the building. Built in 1912 as a Shrine Temple and repurposed as a department store. Has the appearance of an old Venetian palace. Definitely worth a look.

If the outside is beautiful as the inside contains just about everything you can imagine in what comes to furnishings and kitchen equipment. Very service minded staff as usually at Bloomingdale's. It 's just hope that it can handle the competition from all web shopping.

This store features almost anything you want for your home, all in one location. Housewares, kitchen supplies, furniture, rugs and food are nicely displayed throughout the multi-level store with a staff that is both welcoming and knowledgeable. They will take time to help you translate your ideas for decorating or redecorating into a plan of action. There are also periodic... More

While waiting for my wife to get her nails done, I grabbed the camera and started walking. I ended up in Bloomingdales at 600 N Wabash. I was drawn in by the building itself, not the fact that it was a Bloomingdales. It was originally the Medinah Temple, and the architecture is unique. The outside of the building is original,... I first went to this location in the 1980s when it was the Medinah Temple to see Shari Lewis and her puppets. Now it houses the Bloomingdale's Home & Furniture Store. You can still see remnants of the old Temple if you go up to the top floor where they currently sell furniture. There is a beautiful dome with stained... More

The Bloomingdale's Home and Garden store is a beautiful venue worth a visit while in Chicago. They have lovely products and an infinite variety of gifts for friends and family. Be sure to observe the delightful dome.

The Bloomingdale's Home Store is located in what was the Medinah Temple. This one of a kind building and incredibly beautiful with stained glass windows and sleek interiors. In addition to that, you are in Bloomingdale's. This store offers items that few other stores have. Not to worry, you can find deals and incredible sales. Yes, there are expensive items,... More
