A little off the beaten path it took us awhile to find this. Renovations were being done so we couldn't go inside to see it. The outside was very impressive and well taken care of.

Nice stop in a small town to learn about American History. Good video to watch before the guided tour of the house. The tour guide was knowledgeable and informative. Recommend a visit to learn how a common American can rise to the level of President.

We were traveling through Dixon when we learned of this hidden treasure. Unfortunately, we arrived before the house opened, but we enjoyed the statue and signage. Lovely and peaceful, great sorry stop with the kids!
