Not sure where else to post this, but the golf course at Eagle Creek was in great shape. The greens were smooth and lush and the views are great all over the course. Three wild turkeys ran across the cart path in front of us and a deer walked across the fairway right behind us. A neat experience. Staff inside... More

Near the 11th hole we saw three deer cross the fairway and a fox was meandering along the course. For a late October day, the color was fabulous, the temperature perfect and the scenery topped it all. Lost a few golf balls among the leaves, the course was challenging, and the back nine is along Shelby Lake

Went on a Friday night without reservations and there was many sites open. You can make reservations on line but it has to be three days in advance. The campsites were very clean. There are a campsite that has electrical and water hook up that are partially shaded. There is a tent site that is more wooded. Very pretty area.... More

We had been told this was a good place to hike. The problem we are here and it is raining too hard to enjoy the trails. We have to come back on a day of sun. The trail maps are laid out well.

We were unaware that the Eagle Creek resort was closed due to extensive renovations. We were not allowed to walk on the property which was disappointing. There are three short hiking trails that must be reached from the campground that is at the entrance to the park. We chose to walk the High Bluffs trail. Beautiful scenery that takes you... More

We participated in the 2013 MOGA Mega-Event in Lake Shelbyville, IL. While the activity itself was not in Eagle Creek State Park, there are a number of Geocaches in the area, including one at the Conservation building. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the staff is friendly. There is a little hands-on exhibit room that's great for little kids to... More

It is on a Lake, offers swimming, boating and there is a really good golf course by the park. The park is large and well maintained.

This is a lovely park to go to if you want to camp, fish, hike or play a round of golf. Plenty of room for the kids to run and the dogs to play.
