Very nice location with trees and old buildings. The sad thing is that there is no water anymore, so there are no waterfalls. It is very sad because it would be an amazing place...

An impressive hiking through waterfalls and watemills! It becomes much better, when there is plenty of water and you can also swim in the small lakes. The only problem was the lack of signs, but in daylight you can find your way easily.

Although when we visited there was no water in the main fallwater, if you walk in the signed path (it is indicated by white-blue lines) you will find many smaller waterfalls with small pools that you can dive. The experience is unique. The path is...More

You are going 15 min. and arrive to a lovely place but if you continue along the river you will arrive to the water fall with no water in July. In spite of that the place is nice and lovely.

Was a lovely walk although the signs did not say how long it would take. It takes about 1-2 hours to do the round trip which is worth doing to see waterfalls, the mill, old ruins & buitiful gardens

I will make it simple - do not check whether the winter was rainy and whether there are waterfalls or not. It doesn't matter, because it is wonderful even without them. Trust me! The path of the watermills, leading to the gorge is wonderful! Remnants...More

Unfortunately the waterfalls were a big disappointment for us, since the long term drought restricted the amount of water, making this remarkable landmark of the island a real swamp! No water falls of the rocks and the lake without any flow, full of leaves, mud...More

The well marked trail winds down the side of the old river valley. The thick canopy of trees offers welcome shade on a hot Greek day. Sadly, due to an extremely dry winter on Kythira, the beautiful pools at the bottom of the valley are...More
