Located in the heart of downtown on Third Street, the Geneva History Museum is a non-profit museum offering a permanent Geneva history exhibition "Geneva's Story", a feature gallery for traveling exhibitions, research facilities, climate controlled storage for collection and artifacts, gift shop and a meeting room.

My wife is from Geneva and she learned a lot about her hometown and the development of the Fox River area. Of special note was the featured history of the Wilson Brothers builders!

I like that the Museum is located right on Third Street, Geneva's shopping street. The people who run the museum are really wonderful people, and know so much about Geneva. I especially like the gift shop.

We were attracted to the museum by the fun outdoor fire/warming center with benches. There was a clear and interesting display on the history of the Fox Valley area and also turn of the century builders, etc. A must see for newcomers to the area...More

Great tour and great docent. Very interesting photos and stories. Kept my attention throughout. Now we will be looking for signs when we visit again.

Take the time to walk through the Geneva History section and also to see the special exhibit that is going on while you are there. The gift shop has lots of local treats from 1.00 to 60.00. The staff is very helpful as are the...More

Stop in for local history, interesting rotating exhibits, and a great gift shop. It's right in the heart of the Geneva 3rd Street shopping district. The staff is wonderful.
