A gem of a museum for children from birth to about age eight. Children learn about babies, animals, motor vehicles, arts & crafts with hands on interactive exhibit areas. Usually very busy but the hour or two after opening are much less crowded.

The exhibits are great fun for the kids. Unfortunately the field trip kids are out of control. We spent a lot of time telling older kids to take turns, not hit, etc. While there seemed to be chaperones many of them were on their phones so the kids they were supposed to be "watching" were grabbing toys, etc. We got... This is the greatest attraction for young children. My favorite part to take the kids is the miniature Potbelly's and grocery store. I highly recommend this for a rainy day. Plan on about 2 hours for the visit.

My kids loved it but were constantly having to wait. It was rainy and cold and therefore, busy. We brought a lunch which saved us from waiting at the cafe. Very friendly people working there. Just be prepared for the crowds on a rainy day.

I am 8 years old and this is my review Eat before you go because the lines are really long for food I've had a good time going here as I grew up but now that I'm eight I'm getting a little old but I can still spend one hour here and have a lot of fun

I took my 3 year old granddaughter to the museum. She, of course, loved the place; however, I was very disappointed. I found it to be dirty and many of the hands on items broken. The stuffed animals which were throughout the museum were filthy. I understand that many children handle them daily, but they can be washed and should... More

We went here with our grandchildren during Christmas week and loved it. There is a huge selection of interactive stations and plenty of staff to help. I liked that they limit tickets so it is not overly crowded.

I took my two grandkids (2 1/2 and 8 months) the day after Christmas. Children under 1 year old are free. This is a well organized place amidst the bedlam caused by a bunch of little kids. The interactive displays were interesting to the kids and kept their attention. We spent about 2 hours there and the kids had a... More

We have a membership to kohls and here at least once a month, more frequently when the weather is cold. My toddler loves the car, music and train displays...also anything involving balls. I find early mornings are the best time. It gets quite busy by 11:00 and seems to die down again an hour before closing.

This museum offers self directed exploration and a wealth of fun learning experiences for young children. Kids can try several activities from engineering a train, to shopping in a grocery store or cashiering and preparing sandwiches and shakes at a cafe. There's an animal clinic, a baby nursery, a car wash/repair station and a house under construction, all equipped with... More
