Having heard about the statues, was not at all what I had expected to see! They were so much more, and how they've become an icon of the community is amazing. The people are incredibly friendly, and it's a great place to take the family...More

Was a shame it was almost high tide the day we visited, as could not really appreciate the Anthony Gormley statues on this beautiful beach, however still enjoyed a lovely bracing walk & had fun spotting the heads appearing above the waves.

Arrived when tide was about to turn and go out. Walked along the beach and watched the men appear from the sea. Fascinating. Some of them had t shirts on, not sure that the artist intended that to happen.

Not a beach on which to go in the sea, but a great space for walking the dog or taking a brisk stroll. The art installation on this stretch of beach also brings an added dimension.

I don't think so. Would leave a mess spoiling the beach for other people.
