A perfect way to spend part of a day or all day when weather is nice. The kids (and adults) enjoy the ride and it's a different way to see the Quad Cities as you can see beautiful homes on the hillsides, the Rock Island Arsenal from the river and view the I74 bridge from underneath. It's nice if you... More

My husband and I took our kids age 2-15 on a afternoon riding the Channal Cat and we made brief stops at different ports to have lunch and shop around. It was an inexpensive way to spend a summer weekend day.

Great to cruise around on the river. Great stops at East Davenport and Moline (walk 4 blocks south to downtown). !!Avoid Happy Joe's restaurant east of Moline. Overpriced and horrible service.!!

Is a great little trip around the ports of the Mississippi in Quad Cities. Grand children loved it. Each stop showed more of the river culture. Always fun to watch boat navigate the waters.

Then we walk to the Village and shop and have lunch or ice cream, then whenever we are ready we walk back... More

Board the ferry at Moline River Drive. Cross Mississippi to Davenport's East Village[walk to food, shops...]. Again take ferry around north end of Arsenal Island, to Moline Wireless Center[TGIF's], Finish last ride at Moline River Drive.

your ticket gives you unlimited rides for the day. Get off at one of the many stops, explore....get back on and ride some more.

The Channel Cat Taxi provides a nice smooth ride providing a great view of the life on the banks. The price is pretty reasonable and the views are great.

Had 13 family members here from Arizona, took them on the "Cat" they enjoyed it so much we took 2 full round trips. You know there is not much water in Arizona!
