The trip itself was beautiful BUT very important: We initially booked the kayak tour, which was more expensive, but because of the weather they changed our booking to the motorboat. Since, this was cheaper, they said they would immediately refund me and my friend. The...More

We had an incredible time on the kayak-glacier hike. Do not underestimate the physical demands of this outing. Before you even get to the kayaks, you have about a 1/2 mile walk/scramble over the dam to the starting point. Not a big deal, but my...More

We spent all our other days in Norway hiking (Trolltunga, Preikstolen, Kjeragbolten) so this kayak and glacier hike was a great way to switch up our itinerary. Our guides (Michael and Matias) were kind, patient, and knowledgeable. This tour definitely required a certain level of...More

Two friendly, patient guides led my husband and me, and about 16 other travelers, on the kayak-glacier walk excursion, which we will never forget! We kayaked across a lake to a stunning glacier, were helped with glacier-walking equipment (crampons, a harness and a pickaxe), given...More

We went late in the season and were treated to a private tour on the glacier. Our guide was very knowledgable, friendly, and kind. We took the motorboat over (which I would recommend on a windy day) and loved hiking, learning, and drinking hot chocolate...More

We did the stygvatnet glacier motorboat and walk yesterday and the river rafting today, both with our 2 boys (ages 8 and 12). The glacier walk is strenuous and we were not fully prepared for the cold or the rain. While the guides tell you...More

We did Nigardsbreen kayak and glacier hiking. It's a really nice small trip with small kayaking and beautiful hiking followed time on glacier. The guides are very helpful and supportive throughout the trip. Would really recommend everyone in the region to try this

I am not positive but Bergen is probably the closest airport to this tour. It might be your best option. I don't think there are any airports closer.

Stay in Jostedal. It's quaint, quiet and super close to the glaciers. Jostedal Camping is phenomenal!
