No hidden costs, pretty straight forward and up close encounters of the furry kind. No touching tho, so it’s just viewing. It’s okay if you have not much to do in Bohol.

I am very interested in photography and they are the most photogenic little guys around. Love that the sanctuary is successful and helping to restore their numbers.

This was a must see but please don't terrorize the little lemurs. They are nocturnal and are easily stressed. So keep picture taking to a minimum. And when they are stressed they commit suicide. That's one thing I learned. The ones that are on display...More

You are really visiting just to see these cute little monkeys, otherwise you will be bored. Staff and signs instruct you to be very quiet around the monkeys to avoid startling them. May not be best for rowdy young children. The monkeys were awake when...More

Nice experience to see few tarsier in their "natural" environment. The cheap (60p) visit takes ~20min with a kind guide that help you to see these cute and shy Tarsier. I went at 15:00 (1h before closure) and I can spot 5 of them ,...More

The site itself is quite simple and the cost reasonable (p60/person). The ride to get there is lovely, but make sure to schedule something else along the way or afterward since the walk around the conservation area took us less than 20 minutes, but we...More

You can take a short walk around the sanctuary and see the Tarsier, they are nocturnal so you need to be respectful of that, its good to see them in real life curled up in the trees

These animals are adorable and what the kind people are doing here to help and protect the species is outstanding. If you're a nature lover this is one of the best things you can do in Bohol.

We spent around 1 hour here, including the time reading about the tarsiers in the visitor's center, and resting awhile of the motorbike trip we made. We liked the fact that the staff ask you to be very silent and to not use flash. The...More

Easiest would be to rent a scooter and head there, about an easy 30 min ride. Combine that with Chocolate hills, Bohol and Man made forests, you can spend a day.

Both sights you mentioned are in Bohol. The tarsier sancturary is not that far away from Tagbilaran (20-25 minutes?), but you will have to hire a driver to take you there anyway. Chocolate Hills are little further into the... More

There are several ferry companies that run between Cebu and Bohol. I used the SuperCat ferry that runs three times per day, each way (nice, comfortable fast ferry). The journey takes 2 hours to the Tagbilaran ferry... More
