We camped here for 3 nights. The sign in process is very confusing as there are no rangers. Sign in is done at the "host" site if you can find it. The bathroom facilities were dirty and only toilets were cleaned. The mirrors looked like...More

This is a cool place to go. Lots to see and explore too. The camp ground gets a bit full on the weekends but it's still a great place to stay.

We didn't get to see the Blackhawk statue which was apparently getting a cleaning/facelift and was tarred but it was still a very pretty hike. Those steps to the river edge though - wow - those are a killer. Bring water and use the benches...More
