The special Titanic exhibit ended 13 days ago. The museum was installing new exhibits. The cost was $8 per senior. We looked at the permanent exhibits which included the very big mechanical clock from the old courthouse and an original three wheel gas powered car and equipment used to make alcohol before Prohibition. There was a street exhibit which showed... More

Took my grandkids to the Titanic exhibit 3 times and enjoyed it every time. The Big Screen Theatre is a great place to see a movie. They have fun things for kids to do in the IHSA experience room. You could spend quite a bit of time there. I have a membership that allows me to go unlimited times, plus... More

Always looking for reasons to come downtown. The museum is a good start but that's about it. We have come down for events and some movies but overall it is difficult to find close parking that's free since your going to spend a lot to use the Museum at its attractions.

I visited for the Titanic Artifacts with my family. I have visited several other locations before and this one was small compared to the other ones, however it was still interesting to see such amazing artifacts. I would recommend that you get for an $5 the audio tour. Can't wait to see the next exhibit located in Flint, MI until... More

This was the first time I attended this Museum. I was excited to see that the 3D movie, Extreme Weather. We called to confirm the time, got there early. When purchasing the ticket, we double checked the time again and when we bought the ticket, the movie wasn't showing. I ended up seeing, Dream Big. It wasn't bad just not... More

We enjoyed this museum. Beautiful displays! Seems to be a well-kept secret in our area. We found out about this great place from friends who live there. (We live about 59 mikes from Peoria).

We were a little disappointed in the museum - for such a large and modern building it was short on exhibits. A big portion of the museum was dedicated to the traveling Titanic exhibit, and since we've seen that in St. Louis it didn't do anything for us. Likewise, the planetarium & IMAX(?) theatre - been there, done that. However,... More

I went to the Titanic Exhibit today at the Riverfront Museum with my parents. We were there for about an hour or so and it was an amazing experience! There were a lot of artifacts to look at. You get a boarding pass at the start with a passengers' name and at the end you find out if they/ you... More

My son love here an became a member which allows for free visits and this was a wonderful way to spend a Saturday with the Titanic exhibition and planetarium! We easily spent an enjoyable and educational two plus hours between the entire museum exhibits and show at the planetarium. The gift shop is a can't miss either as they have... More

Good addition of a temporary exhibit. I wish more the the exhibits were rotating. There are only so many times you can seen the IHSA exhibit. Kids love it but they'd like anything interactive like this.
