Trains non-stop

Wonderful place to watch trains go by every few minutes. There is a gazebo, you can listen to the dispatchers, and there is even WiFi. Can't be beat!

Park is clean, but is very disappointing now that it is a quiet zone. Pretty much sealed the deal of us not visiting again. Bring back the train horns!!

This place is very easy to get to. There is no charge to park in the parking lot. Handicap parking is available. It is also very easy for those using wheelchair to travel on the path that leads to the observation pavilion. There is picnic tables with benches underneath the overhead protection. There is a train car that kids can... More

This was not my destination, but I always try to stop for an hour or two at the RR park. There is a small shop with some memorabilia and snacks. There's a well-lit parking lot at night, a nice shelter with scanners so you can hear dispatchers and train crews, and usually a regular stream of trains on the two... More

The park is small, but it is a great place for train watchers. There is a large covered pavilion that gives a good view of their claim to fame, the double diamond crossing. A word of warning: this is a very busy train junction, so keep a close watch on small children. There is a small musuem/gift shop on the... More

One of the Must-See's on any RR Fans Bucket List. The city deserves big Kudos here. This is the premiere site to watch trains. You do not have to move, just sit and enjoy. A large covered platform, well lit, internet, restrooms are very clean, as are the grounds.

For folks and families who like to watch lots of trains, this is a great place to do it. There are plenty of trains all day long, although times it gets busier and times it gets slack. Remember, the Railroad Park has no control over the frequency of the trains. The Park has a gift shop, restrooms, pavilion, picnic tables,... More

Didn't quite see as many trains as they've said that pass by everyday. Union Pacific was more active on the day I was there than the BNSF. Saw about 12 total. I would come back again to watch more trains and the gift shop open. It's closed on Tuesdays. That was the only bummer on the day I was there.

This place is pretty awesome! My kids love trains and they really enjoyed it. The gift shop set up nice and the lady that works there was very nice. Don't miss this different kind of park. They have a scanner feed so that you can listen to the railroads and a nice shelter house as well. Get some snack and... More

If you like to watch trains, this is a place to hang out! It is at the crossing of the BNSF and UP lines, they are busy, and you will see trains here. A lot of out of state cars are often in the lot .... it is a popular site.
