This review is for the golf course only. Played here last week. Very fun and reasonably priced 9 hole course. Easy to walk. There is a fun hole that plays onto an island on the Fox River. Course needed some clean up, but it's very early in the season. Because of so many walkers, it does tend to back up. Definitely worth a look if you are only interested in playing 9.

Attended the Scarecrow festival. The park was cool and it was neat to see a fitness area and bike area for water. The water along the river was dull and not very clean as there was litter in the water and on the grassways. Traffic noise is loud and the veranda was filthy with litter. The parking was nice but the lot was small.

what a scenic area along the river. A very nice park with a lot to do. There is mini golf, walking areas, swimming pools, nature walk, food stands, paddle boat rides, just a wonderful area. Plenty of parking and all of the facilities were spotless. A definite visit in the area.

Loved Pottawatomie Park. Had some down time and wanted to do some walking. Found Pottawatomie Park and what a treasure. Very well kept and a lot to do. Take a boat ride, picnic, walk, bike ride, several playgrounds, local garden area, fishing and something I have never seen at a park is an area for resistance exercising. Wonderful place, highly recommend it.

Just a nice slice of small town America. Tons of people out at the park on Labor Day weekend. So much activity. Such a nice view. Many walking trails Looked like a variety of boat rides and boat rentals. Really neat place if you are in the area.

This has been the venue for the Fiero Car show for several years. Each year it is a pleasure to come and experience the wonderful park and amenities offered.

Large public park stretching along the Fox River that runs through the center of St. Charles, IL. It is often the site of town festivals and events. Public swimming pool, small paddle boats for 2-4 to rent, a very big paddlewheel boat that has scenic cruises up and down the river, tennis, baseball field, riverwalk, large, old trees and nearby extensive bike trails. I particularly like the miniature golf setting that has scenic, cooling breezes from the river and is a good place to take photos. There’s also a regular golf course. Another favorite is the large wooden pavilion. It is beautiful and a replica of one from more than 100 years ago.

During a recent visit to see a friend in St. Charles, we visited this park, and I was astounded to learn all the facilities were available to the public. It almost looks like a posh country club. This park has everything, from a playground for kids to a concession stand with ice cream and snacks, sand volleyball courts, baseball fields and tennis courts, a beautiful pavilion, walking trails, and more.

We went to this park while staying in St. Charles for our morning walk. It was a beautiful August morning and the trail led us by the Fox River - all the way down to Main Street in St. Charles. We could have walked all the way to Geneva -but didn't have the time. There were lots of bikers, walkers, and people using the river - such a nice place to have time to stroll. We'll go back.

My wife and I visited on a June morning and walked south along the Fox River about 1.5 miles. BEAUTIFUL! Charming town and so much well maintained green space. We loved this area.
