Saw Trip Advisor reviews so popped in for a quick meal. Haddock and chips very nice! Served promptly, friendly staff, recommend if in area for a no frills stop.

Wednesday is pie and a pint night (£10.95). I had the steak and stilton pie. It was enormous, part of a proper plate pie with plenty of chips and a good pint. Well worth a visit

We have eaten at some pretty grim places over the years but this place really takes the biscuit. The halloumi and roast vegetables on baguette was swimming in grease and the goat's cheese and chutney on baguette was destroyed by an incredibly sweet chutney. When...More

A really good pub that pays attention to details. A Hendricks G&T has a cucumber option. Bloody Mary comes with a fresh stick of celery. They even brought a bowl of water over to keep the hound happy! Great beer with a good atmosphere. Lots...More
