It is a large park with excellent walking paths. Right along the Illinois park. This park has beenthe go to place in north central Illinois for decades.

Very nice trail. Bathrooms at Lodge and visitors center so you do. It have to use ports potties. Wear good waking shoes!

We only hiked when we were there but if you call the park I am sure they will give yu many options. We found the staff we ran into always very helpful. Sorry we can't be of more help.

We only hiked and didn't notice any kayacks. Call the visitor center.
