Lots of interesting artifacts from different eras and different types of things. Volunteers are super nice and knowledgeable. It's very inexpensive and includes the main museum as well as another building. Some days the barn is open with old agricultural items and a blacksmith.

They have a wonderful Canal Market every Sunday in one of their buildings. LaSalle County has a lot of Civil War era things to see, just down the road from a great state park.

Great array of locally found and donated items, now with second, adjacent building. Traces areas ties to river traffic and mining. Includes some artifacts from our granddad's arrowhead collection, or so he claimed.
